Community
At Wedbush, giving back is part of who we are. We invest our time and resources to create meaningful impact for the communities and causes that matter most to our colleagues.
Our Commitment
We are committed to the communities where our colleagues live and work. Through the intentional investment of our time, talent, and resources, we make a meaningful, lasting difference for the causes that matter most to our people.
Our culture is built on the belief that diverse perspectives drive innovation and relentless client service. Building a truly inclusive workplace takes ongoing effort and intention — centered on empowering our people, engaging our communities, and expanding access to financial knowledge.
WedbushCares is our corporate giving initiative dedicated to supporting, educating, and sustaining the communities we serve. Through charitable partnerships, volunteer initiatives, donation matching, and colleague-driven campaigns, showing up for our communities is part of our firm’s legacy.
Susan G. Komen aims to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
Volunteerism examples: Participate in SGK walks. Help fundraise.
Scholastic Book Fairs are magical and unforgettable experiences that provide elementary children from low-income families access to free quality books, which increases literacy rates and encourages a love for reading.
Volunteerism examples: Be a greeter, a classroom book reader, or help students select books during a Wedbush/Scholastic book fair.
Rapunzl is investing in the next generation of investors by educating and inspiring students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (i.e., HBCUs) about the importance of taking charge of their personal finances and pursuing financial services careers.
Volunteerism examples: Facilitate a financial literacy workshop. Serve as a panelist for a career panel. Be a firm representative at a campus event.
Wedbush Inclusion Networks (WINS)
Our colleague-led networks provide platforms for professional growth, mentorship, and community building across the firm. Each group offers a way to connect, share perspectives, and champion the causes that matter – creating a sense of belonging where every colleague can bring their full self to work.
Wedbush Organization of Women (WOW) specifically supports the advancement of all women at our firm, through leadership development, strategic networking, and mentorship opportunities. Members connect with firm leaders across attend
career-focused workshops, and participate in both internal and external industry events designed to accelerate professional growth.
Young Professionals (YP) provides a platform for early-career colleagues to discuss career development, lead networking initiatives, and build connections beyond day-to-day responsibilities. The network creates the social atmosphere critical to retention and long-term success of young professionals at Wedbush.
Wedbush United (WU) fosters a culture where the humanity of all colleagues is recognized and embraced. Through open dialogue and mutual respect, WU creates an environment where colleagues at all levels are valued, encouraged, and empowered—attracting and retaining outstanding professionals from all backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.
Wedbush Pride (WP) creates a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies to connect, share experiences, celebrate achievements, and support one another across the firm.
Financial Literacy
Access to financial knowledge creates opportunity. Through WISE, we partner with schools and nonprofits to bring hands-on financial education to students of all ages.
Our partnership with Rapunzl lets students manage simulated $10,000 portfolios and learn by doing – making investing tangible and accessible.
We also support broader literacy initiatives, from book fairs to reading programs, because we know that building confident, knowledgeable young people starts well before they enter the workforce.
