WedbushCares, a corporate giving program, is dedicated to supporting, educating, and sustaining our communities, colleagues, and clients through charitable activities at all levels of the firm.
At Wedbush, the term “corporate giving” signifies more than just writing a check. It means encouraging and entrusting colleagues to make a personal difference in their community through partnerships, volunteering, and contributions.
Susan G. Komen aims to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
Volunteerism examples: Participate in SGK walks. Help fundraise.
Scholastic Book Fairs are magical and unforgettable experiences that provide elementary children from low-income families access to free quality books, which increases literacy rates and encourages a love for reading.
Volunteerism examples: Be a greeter, a classroom book reader, or help students select books during a Wedbush/Scholastic book fair.
Family Promise has a holistic, community-based approach to provide prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent.
Volunteerism examples: Organize a supply drive. Read a story. Facilitate financial literacy training. Help write a resume.
Rapunzl is investing in the next generation of investors by educating and inspiring students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (i.e., HBCUs) about the importance of taking charge of their personal finances and pursuing financial services careers.
Volunteerism examples: Facilitate a financial literacy workshop. Serve as a panelist for a career panel. Be a firm representative at a campus event.

To carry on the tradition of service Edward W. Wedbush instilled when founding the firm, and to honor his lifelong commitment to the community, we have created the WedbushCares fund. All tax-deductible donations to this fund will help support the annual philanthropic efforts of WedbushCares.

Development

Networking

Financial Literacy
As part of our commitment to service, we are proud to support efforts to improve financial literacy for youth. We offer resources for parents and teachers to create an informed conversation.
Wedbush Investment in Student Education (WISE) is designed to educate students of all ages on financial literacy.
The ability to exercise sound financial judgment is increasingly important, yet ever more difficult in today’s complicated financial market. WISE seeks to provide students with a better understanding of financial basics through educational resources and corporate partnerships with relevant non-profit organizations.
