With no proprietary or dark pool trading desks, our Equity Trading team delivers best-in-class execution, removing any ECN/execution bias and enabling a fully transparent trading and routing process.

The Global Equities Trading desk offers 24/5 coverage across all U.S. trading sessions, including night, pre-market, core, and post-market hours, using high- and low-touch routing through multiple venues and algorithms.

Overnight Market Access allows trading of eligible NMS and select OTC securities from 8 PM to 4 AM ET, Sunday to Thursday, via Blue Ocean ATS and MOON, both of which offer electronic access, live pricing, and standard U.S. clearing and regulatory processes.

Joseph Borruso

Managing Director, Global Equities 

Joseph (Joe) Borruso is Managing Director, Global Equities in the Investment Banking & Capital Markets division at Wedbush, focusing on overseeing and expanding the Sales & Trading team. Joe joined Wedbush in 2023 as a Managing Director, Asian Equities, and he has played a pivotal role in establishing the firm’s Global Platform.

Prior to joining Wedbush, Joe served as COO, Maybank Securities USA & Global Head of Special Projects / Middle Office at Maybank Investment Bank. Earlier in his career, Joe worked at Bear Stearns as an Associate Director in International Equities and at JP Morgan Chase & Co. as Vice President in Global Cash Equities.

Joe Borruso holds a BA in Finance with high honors in Accounting from Hofstra University and has over 25 years of investment industry experience. 

Michael Bower

Managing Director, Equity Trading 

Michael Bower serves as Managing Director of Healthcare Equity Trading at Wedbush Securities with nearly 20 years of front-line trading experience. Prior to joining Wedbush, Michael was the Head of US Healthcare Trading at Wells Fargo Securities and held senior roles at RBC Capital Markets, BTIG, and Banc of America Securities. Well known on the Street, he has built a reputation for collaboration, dedicated client service, and expertise in risk management strategy. 

Kevin Foy

Managing Director, Asian Equities Sales & Trading 

Kevin joined Wedbush in 2023 as Managing Director, Asian Equities Sales & Trading. Kevin has over 20 years of international experience working within global and regional investment banks, specializing in global equities sales, trading & execution, encompassing both high- and low-touch verticals.  

Kevin’s career has spanned across major financial centers including New York, London, Bangkok and Singapore and he has held senior roles at Lehman Brothers, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), and Maybank Investment Group where he served as Head of Global Sales, Trading & Execution, overseeing operations across 10 country offices. Kevin has established long term global relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, industry brokerage dealers, internal/external C-suite, vendors, exchanges and regulators.  

A dual citizen of the U.S. and Ireland and a permanent resident of Singapore, Kevin earned his degree from Long Island University and holds Series 7, 63, and 24 FINRA licenses. 

Jean-Louis Lee

Managing Director, Global Equities and Lead, Strategic Partnerships 

Jean-Louis is Managing Director, Global Equities and Lead, Strategic Partnerships at Wedbush Securities, where he holds a first-of-its-kind role for the firm. With almost three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Jean-Louis has established himself as an expert in Asian equities and leads the firm’s efforts to establish a strong presence overseas via its vast partnership network.

Prior to joining Wedbush, Jean-Louis worked at several major financial institutions, including Baring Securities (ING), HSBC James Capel Securities, JPMorgan, KDB Daewoo Securities, and Maybank Investment Banking Group where he was U.S. CEO for seven years. Working at Asian brokerage powerhouses and U.S. bulge bracket firms with a strong Asian presence prepared Jean-Louis to find a place like Wedbush where he could set up international integration from the very start. Through this, he consistently provides U.S. institutional clients access to international equities and international clients access to U.S. equities.

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Paris, France, Jean-Louis has a multicultural background that has informed his global perspective on finance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Business from the University of Paris Dauphine-PSL, France, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in New York.

Sahak Manuelian

Managing Director, Global Equity Sales & Trading 

Sahak Manuelian is Managing Director, Global Equity Sales & Trading at Wedbush Securities. He possesses more than 24 years of industry experience and has been with Wedbush for over 18 years. As Managing Director, Sahak is responsible for the growth of Wedbush’s equity trading desk as a position trader. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Riverside and is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT)

George Nikitiadis

Managing Director, Equity Trading 

George Nikitiadis is Managing Director of Equity Trading, bringing over two decades of expertise in global portfolio trading, market structure, and equity strategy. He previously served as Head of U.S. & International Program Trading at CIBC World Markets, where he was instrumental in modernizing the firm through groundbreaking Guaranteed VWAP and ETF create/redeem strategies.  

With a keen ability to build and scale trading operations from the ground up, George has held senior roles at Mizuho Securities, Chardan Capital, and Lehman Brothers. He launched trading desks, expanded global trading reach, and guided strategic asset growth. His background in global portfolio trading gives him a unique perspective on anticipating and responding to client needs. 

Jinjoo Hong

Senior Vice President, Global Equities 

Jinjoo Hong is Senior Vice President of Global Equities at Wedbush Securities, where she contributes to the firm’s efforts to expand its global footprint. She covers global equities for U.S. institutional investors and U.S. equities for global investors, bridging markets across regions. 

With over 15 years of experience spanning equity research and sales across Asia and the U.S., Jinjoo brings a deep understanding of global markets and a cross-cultural perspective to her role. She actively builds and manages strategic relationships with Wedbush’s global partners and drives the development of cross-border initiatives, including global research collaboration and corporate access. Prior to joining Wedbush, Jinjoo spent seven years in Global Equity Sales at Auerbach Grayson. Earlier in her career, she served as a Research Analyst at Shinhan Investment in Korea, where she covered the materials and industrials sectors. 

Jinjoo holds a B.S. in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University and is a native Korean speaker.

Jerry Yoon

Senior Vice President, Asian Equities 

Jerry Yoon is Senior Vice President, Asian Equities at Wedbush and is based in Seattle, WA. He brings over 23 years of sell-side experience focusing both on the US and Asian equity markets. Throughout his career, Jerry has held a range of client-facing roles, including equity sales trading, delta one sales, equity derivatives sales and relative value sales & trading.  

Before relocating back to the US in 2022, Jerry spent over 21 years working in Asia for various global investment banks in Hong Kong (2001 to 2012, 2017 to 2022) and Seoul, Korea (2013 to 2016). He previously served in various managerial roles including Head of Equity Derivative Flow Sales Asia ex-Japan at RBS from 2010 to 2012, as well as Senior Managing Director and Head of Equity Derivatives Sales, Asia at Bear Stearns from 2007 to 2008. Through his diverse sell-side work experiences, Jerry has marketed and traded a wide range of equity-related products including cash equities, swaps, listed options & futures and OTC derivatives. He has also played a direct role in executing large activist trades in Asian Capital Markets history. 

Jerry holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University. He holds Series 7, 57, 63 & 65 licenses.
