David values a deep dedication to meeting the needs of both individual and institutional investors. He believes in working for firms with similar values to his own and was initially attracted to Wedbush because of the firm’s ability to provide clients, all the while remaining within a boutique environment.
David has been involved in finance since his freshman year of college, finding himself attracted to the dynamic nature of the markets and achieving successful results for clients. Throughout his 30-plus years within the industry, the thrill that first attracted David to finance evolved into a more standardized and professional approach to both client relationships and investment management. Prior to joining Wedbush in 2020, David served as First Vice President, Investments with Stifel Financial Corporation for over nine years, and as First Vice President, Wealth Management for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC for over eight years. This experience, as well as his service to prior firms such as Prudential Securities, Paine Webber and W.J. Nolan and Co. Inc., has granted David a robust understanding of the financial industry, especially from an entrepreneurial perspective. Because of this, David thrives in the areas of needs-based planning solutions and active portfolio management. He is also dedicated to many foundations, including Hospice Care Network, The Brain Tumor Foundation, Cancer Care Network, and Ice Hockey in Harlem, all of which he has been active with for the past 20 years. These involvements allow David to combine his interests with giving back, as these foundations are close to his heart.
A native New Yorker, David grew up on the North Shore of Long Island in Huntington Bay. He attended Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Retail Management. After graduating, he moved to Manhattan, and currently maintains homes in both Manhattan and Long Island. As an avid hockey fan and player, he is a member of hockey leagues in both Manhattan and Long Island. Additionally, he enjoys sailing and boating on the Long Island Sound.
