Paul Delzio serves as Managing Director, Investments at Wedbush in the San Francisco Bay area and Sacramento, California. He has a team working together to serve clients and small businesses. Guided by the belief that thoughtful planning leads to a more fulfilling life, Paul’s mission is to deliver a world-class investment experience that helps clients achieve clarity, confidence, and success in their financial decisions and goals. He takes the time to deeply understand each client’s personal situation and priorities before developing a comprehensive financial strategy designed to meet their goals while managing risk.
Paul specializes in advising families on wealth accumulation, preservation, retirement income planning, and legacy distribution. His approach centers on education, teaching clients how to ask the right questions, make informed choices, and remain actively engaged in their financial journey. With continuous oversight and open communication, he provides ongoing guidance, making necessary adjustments as markets evolve and client needs change. Paul frequently collaborates with CPAs, estate planning attorneys, real estate agents and insurance specialists to ensure each client’s wealth strategy aligns with their broader lifestyle and values. He leads workshops and seminars on topics such as retirement planning, taxation and education funding.
Before joining Wedbush, Paul built a successful career in the technology sector with firms including IBM, Silicon Graphics, 3Com, RealNetworks, BigBand Networks and started his own technology company before entering the financial field. Prior to joining Wedbush, Paul spent five years at Edward Jones.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brown University and an MBA in International Finance from George Washington University. Originally from New York City, Paul has lived around the world: born in Madrid, lived in Paris and London before settling in Redwood City, California, where he resides with his wife of nearly 35 years. Together, they have two daughters, graduates of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Loyola Marymount University. Outside of work, Paul enjoys skiing, cycling, swimming, traveling, exploring real estate and cooking.
